Each journal brings together a mixture of garments, objects and ephemera from the collection. Spanning different eras, continents and regions, the collection brings together handmade, ceremonial and everyday garments, alongside pieces shaped by utility and labour.
For Issue 001, Lore Archive worked with publisher Supporting Material to document close up details from the archive, including a Japanese ceramic pillow and garments turned inside out to reveal their owners’ signatures. These sit alongside a collaborative photographic with Vasily Agrenenko, Pierre-Alexandre Fillaire
Printed at a large scale on newsprint, each issue is accompanied by a pack of 6 × 4 prints
